Facilitated by amazing Bay Area instructors Lisa Evans, Jaga, Monica Hastings-Smith, Salah Jason Brown & more. Theater, Music, Dance, and Martial Arts including skill building, exploring weekly social justice themes, cultural context & history and practice and philosophy. Be in nature, make new friends and deepen artistic practice. Summer Street Drumming for Womxn/Trans/GNC Folk of Color Performance Technique w/ Monica Hastings-Smith & Terri McFadden A summer workshop to build your Street Drumming aptitude! Using Funky rhythms, participants will explore street drumming performance techniques including call and response breaks, movement, song and playing in an ensemble.
