Dear Community, In less than two weeks, two grand juries failed to indict police officers who killed unarmed men. In months, more and more cases of unarmed killings by police officers emerge. For hundreds of years, countless black and brown bodies have been slaughtered. Coming up with words to capture all the feelings, thoughts, and ideas I have are impossible right now. I am heartbroken, angry, exhausted, and trapped. This pain is not new. This struggle is not new. Amidst all the pain, I am also inspired, motivated, strengthened and I feel loved. We cannot remain silent People are out in the streets, in schools, and at home speaking out. This movement is a reminder that our voices need to be louder and our actions grander.
